Living Lightly — Reflections on Living with Greater Ease
This October, I am excited to share the arrival of my new book. As someone who has walked alongside you on the journey toward mindfulness and emotional wellness, I believe this collection of reflections will resonate deeply with our community.
A small book with a simple invitation: to move through life with a little more ease. Illustrated throughout with quiet moments of nature photography, exploring self-compassion, letting go of perfectionism, and trusting inner wisdom.

Having Our Own Back
I have come to think of self-care in a very simple way: learning to have our own back. For many of us, this does not come naturally. We may be very good at noticing what other people need while overriding our own limits. We say yes when we mean no. We push through when we are tired. We criticize ourselves when what we actually need is reassurance.
Having our own back means becoming someone we can rely on. It may mean setting a boundary without explaining it endlessly. Resting before we are completely depleted. Speaking to ourselves with more kindness after a mistake. Or recognizing that we do not have to abandon ourselves in order to be there for someone else.
This is not selfishness. It is a form of emotional maturity. As I am getting older and wiser, I find myself less interested in proving myself and more interested in being true to myself. Perhaps this is one of the quieter gifts of growing older: realizing that we can become the steady, caring presence for ourselves that we may once have looked for elsewhere. To me, that is part of living lightly.
This is not another book about doing more. It is an invitation to pause and consider what you might carry more gently — and what you may be ready to put down altogether.

What is inside
Grown from lessons learned personally and through many years of helping others slow down and create emotional space. A beautiful volume to keep nearby, return to when life feels heavy, or offer as a thoughtful gift to someone you hold dear.
May these words inspire you to embrace greater ease and kindness in your own life.
