How to Avoid Stress Eating this Holiday Season

  • Nov 24, 2018

The holidays can be stressful... unrealistic expectations and certain family dynamics may cause you to reach for food to comfort and calm yourself.

Can you practice mindful self-compassion instead? Can you carve out time every day to re-group, meditate for a few minutes or simply sit quietly and take a few deep breaths?

Place your hands over your heart and tune in to your energy and stress levels. Talk to yourself as if you were a child in need of reassurance and love. That's the way out of emotional eating.

Be kind and gentle with yourself this holiday season.💜
