Emotional Eating Iceberg

I created this image as a visual aid to help understand how our emotions can cause us to overeat. It’s important to practice self-compassion when we are in emotional distress.  Instead of self-soothing with food, try talking to yourself as if you were comforting a small child, a loved one or a close friend.
